SKYRI

High-Speed Counter-UAS Interceptor for Class I and Class II Threats
Part of the 17TECH Defence Innovation Accelerator
SKYRIX Platform Family

One UAV platform.
Two mission profiles.

SKYRIX is being developed in two configurations built around different operational priorities: extended operator-controlled reach with SKYRIX Horizon, and immediate target-designated deployment with SKYRIX RR.

SKYRIX Horizon aircraft platform
Long-Range FPV Configuration
01 / HORIZON Extended Reach

SKYRIX HORIZON

Horizon is the extended-reach SKYRIX configuration. It is intended for operator-controlled cruise and visual search, allowing the aircraft to be flown toward the operating area, acquire the target through FPV and transition into an autonomous final phase.

01
Operator-controlled FPV cruise
02
Long-range search and target acquisition
03
Mission-adaptive day and night configurations
04

Development Objective 40 KM CLASS RANGE
SKYRIX RR rapid response launch and targeting platform
Rapid Response Configuration
02 / RR Immediate Response

SKYRIX RR

RR is the rapid-response SKYRIX configuration. It combines the aircraft with a dedicated propulsion, radar-detection and targeting unit designed to detect, track and cue an airborne target before launch. The system is intended to prioritize fast reaction, direct launch toward the designated track and immediate deployment.

01
Integrated radar detection — up to 8 km
02
Real-time target detection, tracking and launch cueing
03
Integrated operator targeting and confirmation display
04

Supply Chain Strategy

Designed for NDAA Compliance

SKYRIX is being developed around a non-Chinese critical-component sourcing strategy, with electronics and key systems selected to support customer NDAA compliance requirements. Final compliance will be verified against the production BOM.

Non-Chinese Critical Components
Validation Status: 300 km/h speed and 2,000 m altitude have been demonstrated during initial prototype testing. Horizon performance figures and SKYRIX RR system figures shown above remain development targets until validated in their final configurations.

Development Program

From prototype to production.

Earlier SKYRIX airframe flight testing is complete. The current prototype combines connected camera hardware with working AI target acquisition and is being prepared for its first integrated flight. The overall system is currently assessed as a provisional TRL 4 candidate, pending further validation.

Completed

Prototype Design & Manufacture

Custom airframe, internal structure and integrated electronics produced and assembled.

Completed

Earlier Airframe Flight Testing

Earlier flight prototypes demonstrated approximately 300 km/h and 1,000 m altitude during initial airframe testing.

Completed

Sensor Hardware & AI Integration

Mission-selectable day or night camera hardware is integrated one camera at a time, and AI target acquisition is operating in controlled ground testing.

Current Phase

Integrated Prototype Flight Testing

The camera-and-AI-equipped prototype has not yet flown. First-flight preparation and controlled validation are now the active phase.
